



Born in Timișoara in the spring of 2000, Lucas Neagu is a Gopo Awards–nominated, internationally awarded and acclaimed film director, screenwriter, and producer. With two feature films, five short films, and one documentary under his belt — and recently developing theatre works as well — Lucas is already hailed as one of the most promising young authors in Romanian cinema and among young artists in general. With no formal film school background, he continues to push boundaries and encourages local and national filmmaking communities to create art in any shape or form.
Timing, his debut feature film, screened nationwide with both commercial and critical success and was awarded at several international film festivals. Nothing More and Nothing Different, his second feature film, is due for release in 2026 and stars acclaimed national actors Marian Râlea and Ana Ciontea. Committed to exploring relevant social issues concerning his generation, Lucas Neagu continues to build a body of work that is subtle, evocative, and deeply human.
Born in 2004, Miruna studies acting in German at the West University of Timișoara. She will make her feature film debut in 2025 and has performed on the stages of several national and international theatres, including the Radu Stanca National Theatre in Sibiu and Theater Chemnitz im Spinnbau. She has a strong passion for various creative arts and set design.
Founder of AM Media and producer for the West University of Timișoara, Andrei Maxim is a talented brand developer and promoter. He previously worked on Lucas Neagu’s first feature film as a First Assistant Camera, where he and Lucas developed a strong, trusting relationship. Subsequently, he oversaw the social media presence of Timing during its national release, managing a full-scale marketing campaign.
Acclaimed composer George Denis is the most frequent collaborator of director Lucas Neagu and a voting member of the World Soundtrack Academy (WSA). In 2025, George was selected as the winner of the Oticons Faculty International Film Music Competition, which granted him mentorship from esteemed composers during the 2025 FMF Young Talent Award Workshops. He was also chosen as a composer-in-residence for the 2025 Contemporary Music Festival in Bled. His concert work Glas is scheduled to be performed by major European orchestras.
Irina Enea is a Romanian film producer active in the independent cinema scene. She has produced and financed several short films—including Dear Santa Claus (2018), Părfect (2022), and Double of Nothing (2024)—which have been selected for dozens of international festivals and broadcast on platforms such as HBO, Shorts TV, and PRO Cinema. Enea also served as executive producer on The New Year That Never Came (2024), a film that gained international recognition and won Best Film in the Orizzonti section at the Venice International Film Festival. She founded the Romanian production company Baking Films in 2020, focusing on independent features, shorts, and projects aimed at younger audiences.
Adriana Bumbeș is a Romanian film producer and production executive with over two decades of experience in the film and television industry. She has worked on a wide range of Romanian and international projects, contributing both creatively and financially to film development and production. Throughout her career she has been involved in notable Romanian film projects, including participation in the team behind the influential film The Death of Mr. Lăzărescu and serving as executive producer on the feature film The New Year That Never Came (2024). She has also contributed to films such as A River’s Gaze (Malul Vânăt) and the animated short The Magician (2025) in producing roles. Known for her long-term involvement in the Romanian New Wave film ecosystem, Bumbeș focuses on developing auteur-driven projects and building international partnerships for Romanian cinema.
Răzvan Marinescu is a Romanian film director, screenwriter, actor, and producer with more than two decades of experience in film and television. Marinescu has directed short films and commercial projects, and is the writer-director of the short film Parfect (2022). His work often combines his background as an actor with directing, giving him particular expertise in working with performers, including young actors.He is also involved in developing new film projects for international co-production, including the family adventure feature Kid Hazard (Pericol), which has been presented at several European development labs and markets.
